DESCRIPTION
This kit includes a four channel MiPro ACT-5814 wireless microphone receiver, and four USB rechargeable TA-58 plug-on transmitters.
ABOUT
The ACT-5814 from MiPro is an accurate and affordable solution for 4 channels of wireless measurement in a 1U rack space. The 5800 series operates in the 5.8 GHz band (5725-5850 MHz), which is a license-free ISM (Industrial, Scientific, and Medical) allocated band providing 150 MHz of bandwidth. THis is the same range as a dual-band WiFi router, so you can expect it to have similar range and fast transmission speeds. The ACT-5800 series effectively avoids RF interference from UHF, Bluetooth, WiFi, and all 2.4 GHz communications protocols.
There are 12 preset channels of interference-free operation in Group A and 24 channels in group B1 & B2. 64 total ID codes and 1 specific ID are allowed to be set for each channel to prevent same channel interference. Each channel can be set to groups A or B, however group A and B cannot operate at the same time. Group A has less interference, group B has larger channel count and lower latency.
The TA-58 USB rechargeable plug on transmitter offers a wide and flat frequency response, with ultra low THD and noise floor. It has a built-in rechargeable high capacity lithium ion battery and requires no addition charging station. Charging is accomplished via the built-in USB type C socket. The TA-58 is manufactured in a fiber reinforced plastic house with a built-in high efficiency transmitting antenna and easy to read green backlit LCD screen.
NOTE Rational Acoustics cannot sell this product outside of the USA. In addition, this product contains lithium ion batteries and due to FAA regulations this product is restricted to ground transportation within the lower 48 states. It cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
