Cirrus CR:515 Class 1 Acoustic Calibrator

Note: the Cirrus CR:514 an CR:515 acoustic calibrators are not compatible with the Rational Acoustics RTA420 measurement microphone. 

The CR:515 is a high-performance acoustic calibrator designed for field and laboratory calibration of sound level meters and other noise measurement equipment.

This acoustic calibrator is simple to operate and meets the requirements of the latest IEC 60942:2017 standard for acoustic calibrators with performance to Class 1 specifications. 

The CR:515 is a 1/2" diameter opening which is compatible with all 1/2" capsule microphones, and accepts Earthworks and Audix 1/2" calibrator adapters. For use with iSEMcon EMX 7150, or other 1/4" capsule microphones, the Cirrus 1/2" to 1/4" is included.

The Cirrus Research 15 Year "No Quibble" Warranty

Every new CR:515 and CR:514 is provided with a 12-month no-quibble warranty. This covers everything from failure, poor workmanship and accidental damage. NB - European Union law states a product has to be fit for purpose for 24 months after purchase. This two-year period covers failure and poor workmanship only.

If the product is calibrated by Cirrus Research or an authorized calibration and service center, then the initial 12-month warranty is extended by a further 12 months, with the same conditions, for up to 15 years in total.
